Nine firefighters, including two pilots, gave the ultimate sacrifice in the service to their county. In addition to the lives lost, three firefighters were severely injured.
Let us take a moment to honor the memory of these firefighters and never forget who they are:

Edrik Gomez, 19, of Ashland, Ore.
Matt Hammer, 23, of Grants Pass, Ore.
