I don't understand (thx for the photo)...BUT "in the event of any such lightning NOT being accompanied by thunder..." I saw the lightning earlier this evening after a short downpour and was counting for the SOUND. Nothing.
Guess I never paid attention before, but always heard that hammer drop a few seconds after. Nada AND did not get it.
Was looking toward the East County.
Please advise.
