Today is National Custodial Worker's Recognition Day. When you see a janitor today thank them for making our school sparkle.
PHOTOS: Underclassmen pictures are being delivered today during 1st and 7th periods. Retakes are tomorrow during lunch.
SENIORS: Seniors stop by activities to make your nominations for class song, flower and motto. You will vote during advisory tomorrow.
DECA: Did you say Starbucks? Attention all students, new snacks and drinks are coming into our DECA Snack Bar in H-Hall and the Lava Pit in A-Hall. Starbucks recently released a Refresher Beverage which meets the Federal Nutrition Guidelines. Starbucks Refreshers are available for $2.25 in the DECA Snack Bar this week. Please come out, try one and let us know if you would like to see us stock them in both snack bars on a regular basis.
Attention staff and students, administrators will be coming around this week during 4th period to recognize students that received a 3.5 GPA or higher for the 1st 6week grading period. Over 650 students are receiving this recognition, which 30% of the school. Congratulations to all those that have worked so hard in the classroom. We encourage you to keep up the good work.
RECYCLNG: Students will come around to empty your recycling during 5th period. Wednesday's they will do the 1st floor and Friday's they will do the 2nd floor.
ATHLETICS
SWIM: All students interested in joining or returning to the swim and dive team this year: there will be another meeting held this Wednesday, October 12th, after school from 2:30-3:30 PM in the Lecture Hall.
GOLF: plays at Arroyo Del Oso at 8am today.
VOLLEYBALL: will play Saint Pius at 6:30 tomorrow
LAST WEEK'S ATHLETIC RESULTS:
BOYS' SOCCER – The Boys beat Bosque (3-2) and had an exciting OT victory against Cleveland (1-0)
GIRLS' SOCCER – Tough week with the girls drawing against Rio Rancho (1-1) and a loss to Cleveland (1-2)
XC – Girls took 5th and boys took 3rd overall at Metro with Jericho Cleveland, placing first, winning metro, and Isabella Schrader placing 4th overall for girls.
VOLLEYBALL – Girls beat Cibola in 3 (3-0) but unfortunately lost to Piedra Vista on Friday (1-3)
