Congratulations to our Staff Hawk Employees of the Month. Our September employees of the month include Ms. Rhonda Sandy, Ms Tana Lucero-Ranke, Senior Master Sergeant Chris Newcomer and Mrs. Rachael Wilson. Great job staff!"
FOOD FRENZY: Today is a food frenzy day. Dions and Popeyes will be sold in the snack bars during lunch.
We will be having three SPIRIT DAYS this week:
-Wednesday is Hunt the Cougars- wear camo clothing
-Thursday is Frat Boy
-Friday is a Pink Out Day- we will be playing Cibola in football and we plan to pink out the stands. There will also be a Pep Rally during lunch in the main gym.
PENNY WARS: Student senate will be sponsoring a Penny War from Tuesday thru Friday. All money collected will go to Kyle Osborne for his cancer treatment.
Here's how it works: each class collects pennies and whoever has the most wins bragging rights. However there is the element of sabotage involved. Example: If the seniors have 1200 pennies in their jar and the sophomores put 3 $1 bills in the senior jar the bills are subtracted from the total amount leaving the seniors with 900 pennies. Bills and silver coin take away from your total penny count. You may make donations to any student senate member or in the Activities Office.
BSU: There will be a Black Student Union meeting on Tuesday, October 18th during lunch in Mrs. Vasquez classroom, H-206. See you all then!
BOWLING wants you to know that we have openings for more students to join the team. No experience required. If you intend to bowl it is important you are at tonight's practice or Friday practice to order your bowling shirt. If you are waiting to get your physical please notify Coach Hampel he still wants you on the team.
