Re: [californiadisasters] Re: INCOMING...Tehachapi---just felt a good size quake

I was out on the patio...my table was doing the california shuffle, house audibly creaking and shaking, chair bouncing, my cars in the driveway were rocking back and forth, fixtures swinging..... Nothing fell off shelves here, however. All pictures still on walls, no visible damage (west Tehachapi/Cummings valley)---email and neighborhood message board lit up by alarmed neighbors, though.

Dogs non-plussed, want to know what's holding up their dinner lol.

I'm watching some video of something on fire in Ridgecrest.
They're going to need a lot of help.
Have felt at least 3 sizeable aftershocks so far at our house.

Felt it pretty well here in Santa Monica and I saw my apt moving here and stuff fell over in my closet. My neighbors are doing OK and the building is still in one piece. Here is a link again to the Kern County Fire and they're sendign 5 ST's to Ridgecrest.

I could really feel it here in Jurupa Valley, near Riverside. No damage here, but it shook for a long time .... felt like 20-30 seconds. No noise like  the one that were near me north of Glen Avon a couple of weeks ago.
