[californiadisasters] Re:I have no words after watching..............

I've seen this video and forced myself to watch it again through its
conclusion. It's really hard to watch and that's a good thing.

Over the years I've participated in SCUBA diving, hang gliding,
wilderness camping, backcountry skiing and other sports that some
consider "high risk". When I get a question or comment about high
risk sports I always note that the most dangerous activity we do each
day is get into our vehicles.

We often do this when we're less than fully qualified: we're angry,
we're sad, we're in a hurry, and we're distracted by a myriad of
other things we shouldn't be, but choose to be. So I use the high
risk discussion as a opportunity to remind others that each time they
get into their vehicles it's a time to take a moment and exercise
some vigilance and concentration on the important job at hand.

This a very powerful tool that we can share with friends and loves
ones as a loving reminder that every time we get in our vehicles, as
a driver or passenger, it's a dangerous activity that should not be
treated lightly...
