[californiadisasters] North Ops News & Notes Update (9/04/12-5:40PM)

9/04/2012	1740	CA-MNF North Pass Fire. 41,983 acres. 65% contained. Resources continue fire suppression repair in Divisions A, B, & Z, and mop up and patrol in Divisions X & Y. Crews are making steady progress in meeting containment objectives and date.
9/04/2012	1735	CA-KNF Fort Complex Fire. 22,857 acres. 30% contained. On the western perimeter, active backing fire (1-2 chains/hour and 2-6 ft flame lengths) with short, intense runs toward the interior. Spot fires from rollout and group torching were observed.
9/04/2012	1730	CA-SHF Bagley Fire. 44,895 acres. 55% contained. Fire continues to back down into Bones Gulch and into the McCloud River. Fire crews are observing low intensity fire behavior while backfiring key strategic locations to cut off the advancement in Bones Gulch. Fuels continue to burn out around the perimeter of the fire.
9/04/2012	1700	CALFIRE has new starts on the Lake Napa Unit (LNU). The largest, the Road 27 Fire, is estimated at 175 aces in grass.
9/04/2012	1620	NOPS will move to Preparedness Level (PL) 3 at 1800 today.
9/04/2012	0630	CA-SHU Power Fire. 240 acres. 95% contained. Significant progress was made on 9/3. All control lines are holding and mop-up is progressing rapidly.
9/04/2012	0615	CA-SHF Bagley Fire. 44,465 acres. 55% contained. Containment action continues as crews secure firelines.
9/04/2012	0615	CA-MNF North Pass Fire. 41,983 acres. 62% contained. Crews continue to make progress towards 9/10 containment date. Line construction, burnout operations and mop up continue.
9/04/2012	0615	CA-KNF Fort Complex Fire. 23,010 acres. 30% contained. On the southern and eastern perimeters, fire continues to smolder and creep through continuous fuels, with interior islands continuing to burn out.
