Having monkeys as pets in Indonesia isn't as unusual as you think. I lived there as a kids in the 70s and we had two monkeys. One climbed a power pole and fried himself but if you take care of them they are okay. I admit the breastfeeding bit seems odd tho.

Indonesia was featured with photos in a recent Daily Mail article about a woman who breast fed her husband's monkeys. He trained them for a living.
The interesting side of that was their own kids had tame monkeys to play with as friends.
Indonesia, a slightly different world compared to where l live.
I mean Indonesia...who knows!
