Speaking as a tourist - there is the very commercial Silver Springs right outside of Ocala with its glass-bottom boats.  On the NW edge of the Orlando metropolitan area, there is Wekiva Springs State Park, not commercial, much smaller, but very nice, and with some nice walking trails,  As I remember, you can take canoe trips there, also.  At Wekiva, it you go in warm weather, you can swim.

Oh I have never visited Florida...would love to do so. Where would the most interesting springs be? Allison
