WINTERBALL is on the 30th of this month. All muggles and wizards are welcome to attend. Tickets will go on sale today for $15.00 in the activities office at lunch. You must have your current VVHS ID to purchase a ticket. Tickets will increase to $20.00 on Monday, January 25th. A dollar of each ticket will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and a portion of the sales will go to the Neidigk Family.

Tuesday is also one of our food exempt days so both snack bars will be selling Dion's Pizza, Popeyes and maybe even Bertie Bott's Beans and Chocolate Frogs. Krispy Kreme donuts will be available for purchase in the morning in A-hall and H-hall.

LITERARY MAGAZINE: It is that time of a year again students. The Creative Writing Class is producing the Literary Magazine, and need your submissions. Submit poems, short stories, and original artwork. Stop by H217 to pick up a submission form and guidelines. Submission deadline is February 8th.
SENIORS, Verify your name on your diploma by Friday January 29,2016. The list is located upper E hall and by activities office. Any errors or concerns see Mrs. Ewing in the main office D202 ASAP.
Just a quick reminder to all students: food is not allowed in Aux Gym during lunch.
COUNSELING
The armed service entrance exam, the ASVAB, will be administered here at Volcano Vista on Tuesday, February 2nd. See Major Campbell in B154, the JROTC classroom to sign up.
Attention staff and students, administrators will be coming around this week during 4th period to recognize students that received a 3.5 GPA or higher for the Fall Semester. Over 600 students are receiving this recognition, which is more than a 1/4 of the school. Congratulations to all those that have worked so hard in the classroom. We encourage you to keep up the good work.
Native American students, APS INDIAN EDUCATION unit will be here to share scholarship information with our Native American students who are seniors. The meeting will be on Thursday January 21st, in F125 starting 3rd Period at 9:01am

GIRLS BASKETBALL plays Rio Rancho on Friday in the Ring of Fire tonight at 7
SWIMMING has their Girls Metro Meet on Saturday at West Mesa Pool at 8:30am
OUR CHEERLEADERS AND DANCE teams will be competing in the APS Spirit Invitational on Saturday at Cibola. The cheer competition begins at 1pm and the Dance competition begins at 5.
