Achtung Gruppe!
Yesterday I received the below official-looking message seemingly from Google Mail but it is not actually from them.
Had I responded to this message (which I did not) as the senders had hoped my Google Mail account would now be under the control of a spammer who would have by now already sent out a spam (or scam) message(s) replete with a link(s).
This would have included a posting on all the Yahoo Groups to which I'm a member and for which there is posting address saved in my Google Mail address book.
It is by means of such insidious stratagems (and it seems to have gotten really bad this year compared to previous) that these vermin are gaining control of respectable group member's email accounts or Yahoo Groups accounts and spamming them.
See how easy this can happen and how fast things can get out of hand?
Do not succumb to such nefarious enticements.
If in doubt, DON'T !!!
