Storm dropping a year's worth of rainfall in some Inland cities

Rainfall from the seven-day storm has already surpassed the annual average precipitation in Temecula and San Bernardino, and more than a half dozen other Inland Southern California locations were nearling their yearly totals, according to National Weather Service figures.
Cal State San Bernardino has recorded 18.27 inches of rain since last Thursday. The average annual rainfall in San Bernardino is 13.62 inches.
Temecula has received 12.56 inches since last Thursday, surpassing its average annual rainfall of 11.4 by more than an inch.
Inland cities closing in on annual rainfall totals include Corona, which has had 8.30 inches from the storm, nearing its annual average of 10.67 inches; Lake Elsinore, which has had 10.67 inches and was just 1-1/2 inches short of its annual total of 12.09 inches; Murrieta with 9,19 inches, nearing its annual total of 11.4 inches; Palm Springs with 3.24 inches, which was less than 2-inches shy of its annual total of 5.23 inches; and Yucaipa at 9.60 inches, nearing its annual total of 13.62 inches, according to the Weather Service.
