Weather patterns tend to be like some criminals: Once they find a pattern
they like, they keep doing it for a while.

However, what I'm seeing as of 0530 on Dec 23 is another Low forming north
of HI. If this continues on its apparent course (and they often don't), it
should come into the Coast somewhere a few days after the one that's hitting
WA/OR now.
