I once saw the police blocking a street with a patrol car facing the wrong
way in the lanes, red and blue lights going, flashing headlights going,
lights behind the grille flashing; and a woman drove right up until she was
bumper-to-bumper with that police car before she stopped, and then her
argument was, "But I want to go up that way."

Hikers as Rains Hit L.A. Area For 6th Straight Day
Here is a video a stormchaser friend of mine made the day of the flooding of
Lytle Creek. Amazing. I simply cannot wrap my mind around anyone who would
attempt to breach this body of water.
