[californiadisasters] EMPG survey-- extended to Feb. 25--update on responses

Folks, we have extended the deadline for state, tribal, and local government emergency manager responses to the joint IAEM and NEMA Emergency Management Performance Grant survey to midnight Friday, February 25. The purpose of the survey is to obtain information that will help our Congressional efforts to support the funding.

We still need more responses and would appreciate any encouragement you can give.

A reminder-- even if a local or tribal government emergency management office is not receiving EMPG funding currently, we would like the response. They can follow the survey link, enter zeros for all of the questions related to EMPG, and, if address why the jurisdiction does not receive EMPG funding in the open-ended comment section at the end of the survey.

The link to the survey is https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/EMPG_ROI. A respondent can stop and return to the survey any time before midnight on February 25 from the computer on which the survey was started.

If anyone has questions or a problem with the survey, please contact Jessica Jensen at ja.jensen@ndsu.edu.

As of this morning, 1076 local government emergency managers completed surveys. Not all emergency managers identified the state in which they were located. The breakdown of the number of responses per state is as follows:
