Per the I.C. per the Hotlist the fire is contained... have not heard any confirmation on that initial report of a structure involved.

just heard from a friend that lives in lake isabella and 100 homes are in danger and the elementary school has been
evaucated along with the senior home . the hwy end has been closed. over 128 ffs ( fire fighters are on scene
with numberous out side resources heading that way..  Joann

I.C. puts acreage at about 200 acres with forward movement mostly stopped but lateral spreading on the flanks is apparently still an issue. Latest from the CAD:
