...GUSTY NORTH TO EAST WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES THURSDAY INTO SATURDAY...    .THE TROUGH OVER THE AREA TODAY WILL DIG INTO THE GREAT BASIN  THIS EVENING INTO FRIDAY MORNING BRINGING NORTHERLY FLOW OVER  THE AREA. NORTHERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE TONIGHT AS THE SURFACE  HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO OREGON BY EARLY THURSDAY. THE SURFACE  HIGH DROPS INTO NEVADA EARLY FRIDAY SHIFTING THE WINDS TO MORE  EASTERLY. THE STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF  THE SACRAMENTO VALLEY AND ADJACENT FOOTHILLS AND OVER LAKE COUNTY.  THE DRYING NORTH TO EAST WINDS WILL DROP HUMIDITIES DOWN INTO THE  TEENS DURING THE DAY AND AREAS OF POOR HUMIDITY RECOVERIES  OVERNIGHT. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL BE ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF THE  SACRAMENTO VALLEY AND ADJACENT LOWER FOOTHILLS.
