My question is how did the heavy metals like Silver, Gold and Iron ended up concentrated in specific locations. If I understood correctly the Earth surface was molten and churning for long time and then the light elements floated to the top forming the continents.   Even if some of the heavy elements were in the mixture there they would be evenly mixed and not the way they are found.

Having seen identical stone mixtures in Michigan and Puerto Vallarta Mexico I have to wonder if perhaps there was a dropping rather than the churning, mixing and evenly distribution we think should happen. We have a sand, clay, rock (With gem stones) layer from Alaska all the way to South Africa that seems to be identical in composition.  Maybe we are just looking at it wrong.
