World's most expensive coloured gem sells for $30m

The Sunshine Ruby has become the world's most expensive coloured gemstone, selling for $30m (£19.1m) at auction, with costs.

It was sold in Switzerland to an unnamed buyer, and becomes the most expensive gem which is not a diamond.
