LIBRARY: Students, all library books will need to be returned by Friday, May 8th. If you need more time, please come see Mrs. Holmes to make arrangements.
SENIORS—pay all fines and return textbooks in the library by the end of the day on Wednesday May 6 before you leave school. You must be clear of all your obligations to participate in graduation activities. Cafeteria fines need to be paid at the cafeteria
YEARBOOKS. We still have plenty of books left. You may purchase a yearbook in the activities office at lunch for $75.00.
NHS: National Honor Society will be meeting on Monday, May 11 in room E-214 at the start of lunch. Plan on bringing your own lunch and please be on time.
Attention students, the semester SOAR drawing will take place on Monday, May 11. Make sure to get all your SOAR cards in for this drawing. Grand prize is a Chromebook laptop. Seniors are eligible for drawing and will be notified if they are one of the winners on Monday at senior events.
COUNSELING:
For Information on High School Summer Registration Please have your student meet with their school counselor to complete the pre-registration form which is your "Ticket" to get in line. Tuition must be paid IN FULL at time of registration. Registration and Tuition Payments will be in person at APS Alice and Bruce King Educational Complex, 6400 Uptown Blvd NE, 87110 (City Center).Registration dates are every Saturday in May 2015 and June 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th. Summer School sites for 2015 are Cibola, Sandia, West Mesa and ECademy High Schools. There will NOT be any summer school registration at the high school sites.
ATHLETICS
Attention any boys soccer players interested in playing soccer, there will be an information meeting on Thursday, May 7 at lunch in room A104. If you are unable to attend, stop by A121 and see Coach Thiebaut for information.
TRACK: Metro track announcement: Congratulations to the boys and girls track teams this weekend for their success at the Metro Championship Meet. The girls took 6th place, and the boys team brought home the championship trophy. There were incredible performances all around, including state qualifying marks and top 6 finishes by many runners. Over the past few weeks we have also had many new school records set by Alanna Young, Sierra Quinones, Makayla Shelmeyer, Gabe Beyers, Alejandro Goldston, Ian Ogilvie, and Parker Conaway. Congratulations to both teams for their success this season.
