ATHLETICS
GOLF: This is just a reminder to all students planning to tryout and play for the Boys and Girls Golf Team this Fall Season. Physicals are due to Coach Cota by this Thursday September 8th if you plan to tryout or play. Tryouts and the season begins on Monday September 12th. See Coach Cota in A-216 if you have questions
BASEBALL weight lifting workouts will begin Monday from 6:00-7:00 in the morning. Please see Coach Andersh if you have any questions.
BOYS SOCCER: plays Atrisco Heritage tonight at 6:45 at the soccer complex.
XC: has a meet at SPX at 3 on Friday.
METRO VOLLEYBALL: VB at Del Norte on Friday and Saturday. We will play Cibola at 7:30.
FB plays West Mesa at 7 at Community Stadium. We are on the visitors side.
Hey Staff! Just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to all who are participating the The Westside Walking Challenge! With over 40 participants here at Volcano Vista, we easily clinched last week's victory over Cibola and West Mesa with OVER 3 MILLION STEPS!!! Talk about fitness! Keep up the great work! Log your steps from Saturday to Friday and send your step count to Coach Suman by Friday afternoon-We are still working towards 80% participation and every step counts! Keep up the great work and keep on walking!
