[californiadisasters] Major Diablo Wind-Driven Wildfires Across NorCal Tonite



LNU (Lake-Napa-Sonoma Unit CalFire) has the Tubbs Fire, Atlas Fire, Nunn Fire, Partrick Fire, Adobe Fire, and Sulphur Fire.

NEU (Nevada-Yuba-Sutter Unit CalFire ) has the McCourtney Fire and Cascade Fire.

BEU (Butte Unit CalFire) also has the Cascade Fire as well as the Cherokee Fire.

Many of these fires have destroyed structures and sent people scrambling for their lives and lives may have been lost in some cases.

The most serious fire at this hour is the Tubbs Fire which began around Tubbs Lane in Calistoga and burned over the Maacama Mountains to the west tearing through Petrified Forest and Mark West and is now into Santa Rosa and threatening to jump Highway 101 to the west.
