Good advice Jason. Up here in NorCal we just had all of the horrible North Bay destruction last week and today is the anniversary of the Oakland Hills Fire (thank you for the reminder Kim Noyes). Diablo and Santa Ana winds are very powerful stuff...stay safe & stay aware of the conditions folks!

These next few days will be extremely dangerous here in SoCal. Major heat and high winds are predicted, which in the past have been the exact thing to get big fires going around suburban areas. Nearly all damaging brush fires have happened either this week of October or the week before. For those who live near the hills, such as myself, please watch for anything suspicious. I have a bad feeling about the next few days...
