08/25/2011	1800	Light Initial Attack in the GACC today; no new large fires reported (0600-1800).
08/25/2011	1130	On August 25, 1934, Shasta National Forest Supervisor John Everitt was killed on the Bear Springs Fire near Mt. Shasta when he was overrun by flames while scouting a fireline. Supervisor Everitt was the first fire fatality among the Forest Service California Region's permanent workforce. 08/25/2011	1130	No new large fires reported in the GACC overnight (1800-0600). The small lightning fires from yesterday's lightning are all staffed. Recon flights on the GACC northern forests will continue today.
