I would add that that the corruption runs through Italy, not only through their judicial system, but their unethical method of doing business, as well as through the Church. It's sad, but Italy is stocked with self serving individuals that make the inner workings of Mexico look like Disneyland.

I normally keep my head down on here and just read with interest but I find this quite extraordinary. 

Six scientists have been found guilty of manslaughter and given six years each for failing to warn of an impending earthquake that killed 309 people in  central Italy in 2009.
