I bet you never heard of Roberto Calvi, nicknamed "God's Banker", the head of the Bank of Ambrosiano who was found hanging from a London bridge back in 1982 with bricks in his pockets.

The  judiciary ruled it a suicide.

Wow, yeah right! Why did the Vatican compensate Ambrosiano's account holders with a quarter BILLION to make them go away without admitting any wrongdoing?

Now the global banking collapse has lead to this new item a few months  ago...

 


Yeah Lin I think you nailed the ugly moral problems that still exists in  Italy where a half dozen geologists would be blamed for an earthquake and then sent to prison.

I would add that that the corruption runs through Italy, not only through their judicial system, but their unethical method of doing business, as well as through the Church.
