Dates | Time | News and Notes | 06/24/2019 | 0700 | CA-MNF East Fire: 390 acres of brush and timber, 20% complete. The total percent of perimeter that will be completed on the East Fire is 30%. Fire continues to back down East Ridge towards the Eel River with minimal fire activity observed. | 06/23/2019 | 1800 | CA-MNF East Fire: 378 acres of brush and timber, 10% complete. The total percent of perimeter that will be completed on the East Fire is 30%. Fire continues to back down East Ridge towards the Eel River with minimal fire activity observed. | 06/23/2019 | 0800 | CA-MNF East Fire: 350 acres of brush and timber, 5% contained. Fire behavior was minimal last night with backing and creeping observed. Fire is located in a class 1 air-shed and continues to threaten wildlife habitat and fisheries. There is a large amount of snags in the area from the 2008 Yellow Fire. The fire is being managed using a confine strategy. | 6/23/2019 | 0753 | CA-MNF Haynes Fire: 23 acres in brush and timber, 99% contained.
