2000: Several training thunderstorms moved through Needles, CA producing over an inch of rain in less than an hour causing roads to become flooded over much of the town.
Several people were stranded for about two hours on Highway 95 between Ft. Mohave and Needles due to the flooding. 

2000:
Two funnel clouds were observed around Hesperia.

1994: First of 9 consecutive days with a high of 120° F or better at Laughlin, NV.

1959: The Coachella Valley was baking on this day, both Palm Springs and Indo set daily records with afternoon highs of 118° F.

1954: The temperature in Victorville reached 110 °F, tying for the third highest June temperature on record.

1954: Grapes in the Fresno area suffered "serious" damage from a 3 day heat wave that lasted from the 21st through 23rd.
Highs of 106° F, 108° F, and 107° F were recorded respectively.

1948: An intense burst of rain resulted in 2.8" of rain in Palm Springs.
This is the highest single day June rainfall on record and exceeds any other one day rainfall in June by 2".

1912: Redwood City received 1" of rainfall.
