On This Date In California Weather History...
2007: This is the only day on which rain has never been officially recorded in Fresno.
2000: Heavy rains (about one inch) hit La Jolla Indian Reservation near Palomar Mountain on a recently burned area.
Flooding and mudslides occurred along Hwy. 76, where 200 feet of highway was covered by up to 18 inches of mud.
1961: Earliest triple digit temperature on record at Yosemite Valley, 100 degrees.
