We actually are stupid if we can't wrap our minds around a very logical and rational explanation and refuse to accept Occam's Razor which in a nut shell suggests that the simplest explanation is the most likely explanation.

Given that we track Russian subs off our coast by means of listening equipment and satellites and have sophisticated radars that track ships and aircraft along with a host of other watching technological eyes and ears it defies logic and rationality that a missile was launched off our coast and nothing was detected but a piece of video from a KCBS-TV news chopper cameraman.

This discussion is now venturing into the pseodo-intellectual realm of conspiracy theorism. Enough has been said about this topic so I'm now officially closing it here but welcome any and all to make further comment over on the discussion group.
