Tickets are on sale today during lunch in the Performing Arts Ticket booth - that's in J Hall just a bit away from the DECA Snack Bar. Come see your fellow students put on this exceedingly popular Broadway musical about the transition of Siam to a modern country. A true story based on the life of Mrs. Anna Leonowns. It is time to pick the FAB 5 for Basketball.
If you are a senior and you love our school then we are interested in you as a member of 2010-11 FABULOUS 5. Pick up a flyer from Mario Molina, Johnny Cordova, Isaiah Nix, or Coach Brown, fill it out and return it to room A117 no later then Friday of this week.
On Monday Night, November 22, at 6pm in the Gym, we will announce the 2010-11 FAB and have a little party. The first 100 people will get pizza and a drink.
The Art Department will be holding it's first show of the year at the Corrales Frame N' Art Gallery at Coors and Alameda November 15 - Dec 4. Our opening celebration will be on Nov 19 from 5-7. Please stop by and help up support the fine artists from Volcano Vista High School. Twenty five student artists will have their work displayed. Again, the Opening Awards Celebration will be Friday, Nov 19 from 5-7.
Attention students that participated on the Rachel's Challenge Friends of Rachel program last Wednesday. There will be a meeting a lunch on Thursday, November 18 at lunch in the lecture hall. All faculty and student representatives need to attend. Also, any students that missed the training last week and would like to be a Friend of Rachel can also attend.
Attention all girls tennis players: Voluntary off-season practice will begin today, November 16 at Sierra Vista Courts. Practice will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5 from now until the regular season starts in February (weather permitting and holidays excluded). Get your game in shape before tryouts!
