Re: [californiadisasters] Dramatic Satellite Image Shows Huge Storms Heading Toward L.A.

The real drama here is in the reporting.

Satellite images are, IMHO, not dramatic; they're showing what they've been
showing since Friday.

"Huge stormS"? There is the Jetstream/Pineapple Express, and ONE storm
system. Granted there's another Low forming west of HI. The "storms that are
expected to batter Southern California" consist of the Low/storm system
that's been off the NW coast at least since Friday that is predicted to move
into our area and displace or "mash" with the Jetstream. ("Mash"? Did the
"writer" mean "mesh"?)

Despite the ignorance of the reporter, we are in fact having rain and will
have rain, and it's not lacking newsworthiness.
