Sadly I agree with you Kimmer.
I once was a proud Member of the so called Fourth Estate. I gathered facts and such and reported the reality of a solution. Mostly hard news life and death in black and white as it was. I idolized Walter Cronkite and John Fesenda a local Cronkite like Anchor in Philadelphia (later in life an early voice for NFL Films a NJ founded firm).
Today I can count on my toes the number of Anchors I respect (BTW I've had all but my Great Toes amputated due to diabetes).
My Mother was right we were seemingly the "ruin of the Nation".
How in 60 years did we go from "the Greatest Generation" to well my kids generation?

(979) 690-7562 (Office Fax)American media spends less and less on hard news reporting more and more all the time so this sadly comes as little surprise.
The BBC is a great source of U.S. news I've found all the while Faux News and MiSerableNBC and Communist News Network throw mud or potty at each other in the Culture War and Ratings War all the while trivializing by way of over-sensationalizing the real news.
