Yeah that's a good one, although I doubt whether most who make these types of claims see it like that. They seem to always take a deterministic as well as a literal view. I posted this as an endcap piece to the entire debacle so that folks here could understand how Cummings derived the date for his personal doomsday. Drivel? Yes. Rubbish? Yes. But then, it is also news regarding a phenomenon that deluded thousands of people who were ignorant of geology and of science, in general.
