Scattered lightning activity has brought several small fires to many areas throughout the GACC, ranging in size from single snags to approximately 30 acres in size.

 A few resources from North Ops have been moved and prepositioned to the Los Padres NF and Santa Maria reload base(1 load Smoke Jumpers, 5 Hand Crews 3 T/1, 2 T/2IA, 1 S/T T/3 Engines, 2 S/R T/2 Dozers)

Scattered mainly dry thunderstorms will move across the region through tonight. Temperatures will remain well above normal and humidity will remain low over most of the region today.  Scattered showers and wet thunderstorms will form over the Sierra and over the mountains and deserts of Southern California east of the Cajon Pass Saturday afternoon.  All shower and thunderstorm activity will end across the region Saturday night.
