[californiadisasters] On This Date In CA Weather History (April 24)



1910: Fresno reached 101° for a high.
This set a record for the most days of triple digit high temperatures in the month of April.
In Bakersfield the high reached 100°, establishing a record for the most triple digit highs in the month of April (the record was later tied in April 1981).
Lemon Cove reached an April record high of 110°.

1896: 16" of snow fell at Susanville.
