2006: 14" of snow fell at Tahoe City (west shore Lake Tahoe).

2004: On this day measurable rain fell in San D iego for the last time until 10/17, a streak of 182
consecutive days with no measurable rain, the longest streak on record.
Several funnel clouds were spotted off San Clemente.
Large swells capsized two outrigger canoes near the mouth of Mission Bay.
Several small boats in the bay also drug anchor and were grounded.

2003: A thunderstorm dropped 0.41" in 25 minutes at the Fresno-Yosemite International Airport.

2002: Late-season snowstorm drops 12" of snow at Tuolumne Meadows in just 11 hours.

2000: A storm that started on this day and ended on 4.18 brought up to 2" of rainfall to lower elevations and 18" of snow to Wrightwood.
Winds gusted to 68 mph in the mountains of San Diego County.

1983: Heavy rain that started on this day and ended on 4.20 caused street flooding and mud slides in the San Diego area.

1971: Gusty winds up to 60 mph tore down a heavy neon sign in downtown Las Vegas, NV,
and sent down trees that crushed two vehicles.

1963: 10" of snow fell in Palomar Mountain, the greatest daily snowfall on record for April.
This also occurred on 4.11.1967.

1954: Pinnacles National Monument had a high of 95° F.
