The Tenaja Fire pretty much burned out the hills in which it was burning which are surrounded by development so it's pretty much a done deal now.

there was a mild Santa Ana wind blowing towards the Los Angeles County beach cities today and i could smell the smoke from those fires about 60 miles west from there. not much containment so tomorrow will be a long day for everyone out there.73,kevinkc6pobOn Thu, Sep 5, 2019 at 4:17 PM Kim Noyes <kimnoyes@gmail.com> wrote:Pictures: Tenaja Fire Burns West of Murrieta, Dangerously Close to Homes

Published Sep 4, 2019 at 5:36 PM | Updated 2 hours agoA brush fire that may have been started by lightning began burning in the community of La Cresta Wednesday, just west of Murrieta, blackening 25 acres in 30 minutes.
The blaze had begun to burn close to homes, while thick smoke could be seen for miles.
By Thursday afternoon, the fire had charred 2,000 acres, prompting evacuations and road and school closures. It was only seven percent contained as of 3:00 p.m.Source: https://www.nbclosangeles.com/multimedia/murrieta-fire-homes-burning-smoke-cresta-559414771.html
