As of this morning, the Maria Fire has burned 8,730 acres, destroyed two residential structures, and is 0% contained. On the flip side, it has pretty much run out of real estate apart from running through the Santa Clara Riverbottoms and a random creek drainage here and there out in the midst of orchards.
