'Boobquake' Demonstration: Women Show Cleavage In Protest Of Iranian Clergy Leader

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- A small group of women stood in Dupont Circle wearing the most cleavage-showing dresses and blouses they own.

"This is not what I typically wear to work; I'm an attorney here," said one protester.
The woman behind the movement is Jen McCreight who said, "In the name of science, I offer my boobs." She created the Boobquake facebook event that sprung Monday's demonstration.

McCreight was inspired after Iranian Leader, Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi was quoted saying, "Many women who do not dress modestly... Lead young men astray, corrupt their chastity and spread adultery in society, which increases (consequently)earthquakes."
Dr. Inis Sifuentes, another demonstrator, who is a seismologist, told 9NEWS NOW, "I am here because it's ridiculous to suggest women cause earthquakes. Earthquakes happen everyday!"

Women across the country have vowed to wear revealing shirts to prove the shocking hypothesis that cleavage does not, in fact, produce earthquakes.
