An excessive heat warning remains in effect through Saturday for

Much of the Mojave desert with record temperatures in some areas.

Hot and dry weather can be expected the rest of the week and into the

Week end with highs in the 100-105 degree range in the valleys. Minimum

RH will be in the 8-12% range in southern California during the next several

afternoons with only fair nighttime recovery. Isolated thunderstorms will be

possible over the southern San Bernardino and Cleveland National Forests

each afternoon from Friday into the weekend.
