* TIMING: THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

* WINDS...NORTH-NORTHEAST WINDS...PEAKING THIS MORNING WITH
SUSTAINED WINDS OF 35 TO 45 MPH AND GUSTING TO 55 TO 65 MPH.
ISOLATED GUSTS TO 80 MPH ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE FAVORED PASSES
AND CANYONS OF THE SAN BERNARDINO AND SANTA ANA MOUNTAINS. WINDS
WILL WEAKEN THIS AFTERNOON...THEN STRENGTHEN AGAIN
TONIGHT...WITH A SECOND WEAKER PEAK FRIDAY MORNING. WINDS WILL
DECREASE FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

* VISIBILITY: LOCALLY REDUCED TO BELOW 3 MILES IN BLOWING DUST AND
SAND.

* IMPACTS...WIND GUSTS THIS STRONG ARE CAPABLE OF DOWNING TREES
AND POWER LINES...AND BLOWING OVER UNSECURED OUTDOOR OBJECTS.
THESE WINDS WILL ALSO CREATE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES.
