There is one neat video called 'new threat revealed', lakes were forming behind volcanic debris high on the mountain.
The point was there was a building out on the 'track' that had to be vacated do to boulders up to six tons being thrown out of the volcano. The helicopter flew over and captured video of huge holes in the roof. A ground party investigated and said that some boulders penetrated the roof and hut ceiling, crashed through a double bunk bed , the hut floor, and then buried itself in the earth below.
The former occupant is shown on film saying that he would have evacuated much faster if he had clearly known that was coming. He was grateful to be alive.
