Ms. Pace's student ambassadors are meeting in room A201 Thursday at lunch to promote our club slogan. All Ambassadors are welcome to attend to help us create and display our slogan to students entering the school.
Attention MESA members: It is extremely important for you to attend our meeting this week. We need team info for the Air Force Research Lab competition. Please be in H207 as soon as you can today at lunch.

BOWLING The first information meeting will be held during lunch this Friday - September 20th, in Room E209. Coach Hampel is looking to see all club members from last year returning and meeting a number of new members. Reminder that the bowling activity does not have tryouts - you can join the club regardless of experience. Also for those students involved in fall sports that it is okay to complete your fall event before being active with the bowling team. However, Coach Hampel urges you to attend Friday's meeting. SENIORS & JUNIORS: It is time to sign up for Powderpuff Football and Cheerleading. Pick up your permission slip in the activities office at lunch. All permission slips are due back to Activities by the end of the day on Friday. All participants need to have a 2.0 GPA in order to participate.
The first meeting will be at lunch on Monday September 30.
COUNSELING:
- Juniors: Sign-up to take the PSAT thru Sept. 26. The cost is $14. The test will be given on October 16 from 7:30 to 11 in the Lecture Hall. This is your one chance to qualify for National Merit. See Mrs. Sandy in E216 to sign-up.
- Our UNM rep will be here TODAY at lunch to answer questions about admissions and scholarships. Come by the F hall lunch area. October 1st is the deadline to apply online to UNM without paying the application fee!!
ATHLETICS:
- Lady Hawks Soccer will be having a fundraiser at Olo Yogurt in Ventana Ranch on September 18 from 11am -9pm. Every cup sold that day will benefit VVHS Lady Hawks Soccer. Go out and support your Lady Hawks!
- All girls interested in playing softball: There will be a meeting at the beginning of lunch, in the gym, on Wednesday, Sept. 18th. We will begin practice the following week.
