Just got home from the holiday festivities at Cub Lake (Tehachapi, Bear Valley Springs)....many of us felt this roll through, even outside at the park. Slow rolling that went on for quite some time eminating from the north east. Eve some walking people felt this one. As far as I know, no damage here in Tehachapi (roughly 50+ mi SW of Ridgecrest), but strongly felt--even while outside, walking or in a car.
Reports out of Ridgecrest: buckled auto zone floor, rockslides/road issues, house on fire (unclear if it's quake related at this point) and Ridgecrest Memorial hospital is currently being evacuated--unclear why at this point. Assumed quake related.
Redhart @ Tehachapi
PS: the CERT booth at the festival became very popular today
