When you say forest service are you talking CDF or US Forest Service?

 

Is there a web site that explains what a "second alarm" is for whichever agency you are talking about?

Highway 178 is closed indefinitely due to a fire in the Kern Canyon, in Kern County.  The forest Service has called a second alarm. Smoke from the Breckenridge camera looks bad.
