9/21/2010 | 0705 | Initial Attack Activity was light in the GACC yesterday with 10 fires for 15 acres reported in the Daily Situation Report. A low pressure trough will approach the coast later Tuesday and move inland, but any precip that comes with it will be light and near the Oregon border Wednesday. Thursday will be an in between weather features, dry and warmer. Friday a high pressure ridge will begin strengthening over the region from the south. This will bring much warmer and drier conditions back for the weekend. Temperatures for most of the week will be near to below normal, but by Sunday, the inland valleys should be well above seasonal normals with the warmest areas in the mid and upper 90s. Coastal low clouds and fog will be around, but probably come and go during the week with the unsettled weather pattern. |
