GAY STRAIGHT ALLIANCE – The first meeting of the GSA for Volcano Vista 2010-2011, will be held today, September 23rd, at lunch in Ms. Valdez's room A203. All students are welcomed and encouraged to bring a friend.
Any senior or junior interested in participating in the 2nd annual powderpuff game please stop by the activities office and pick up a permission slip. All permission slips are due back to the activities office by Tuesday, September 28th
ALL senior girls interested in playing for the undefeated senior powder puff girls football team, please report to Mr. Greaves room at lunch, Friday, September 24.
VVHS has over 30 students represented in "A is for Art!" auction that will be held on Friday, Sept. 24 from 6 - 9 pm at the Albuquerque Museum. Tickets are $10 for students and $25.00 for adults. It is a Silent auction, live auction, and music from several of our high schools. It should be a very fun evening!
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: NHS Members please listen up! Take note of the following information:
FIRST: If you have not turned in your car wash money, do it today! Take it to Mrs. Jones in E203 or to Ms. Torres in A207.
SECOND: Be at the car wash at your assigned time!
THIRD: On Monday, September 27th, we will have a mandatory meeting. We will be meeting in three different locations depending on the group you are assigned to. Tutoring will meet in E203 with Mrs. Jones. Fund Raising will meet in A207 with Ms. Torres. Community Service will meet in A216 with Mr. Wellman. Be sure you sign in at the meeting Monday in the room you are assigned to.

Juniors – Sign up now for your chance to take a practice ACT test! The test will be held in the lecture hall at Volcano Vista on October 2nd at 8:00 AM, you will return for your scores on October 6th at 6:00 PM. Sign up with Mrs. Futey in room E224. This opportunity is free and will help you increase your score for the real ACT test.
Any senior interested in trying out to be the MC for the Homecoming coronation sign-ups begin today thru Thursday during lunch in the Activities Office.
Anyone interested is trying out to be the talent at the coronation, today is the last day to sign up in the Activities Office.
