[Volcano_Vista_HS] Upcoming Practice Tests and College Info

Saturday October 2, 2010.  Practice ACT Exam at 8:00 AM in the lecture hall.  We will be hosting a practice ACT exam through Kaplan.  Students can familiarize themselves with the testing process and the kinds of questions they may see on the ACT exam.  Those participating will return on Wednesday October 6, 2010 at 6:00 PM for their score report and a workshop designed to help you improve your scores before the actual exam.  Sign up in room E224.

Monday October 4, 2010.  Volcano Vista's College Fair will be held in the library from 9:45 to 11:05 AM.  There will be representatives from 30 higher education institutions available for you to meet with and gather information.  Seniors, juniors and their parents are invited to attend.

Wednesday October 13, 2010.  PSAT Exam.  All sophomores will take the PSAT exam the morning of October 13^th.  Any juniors who want to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Program should register for the exam by bringing $13 to Mrs. Futey in room E224.
