Re: [californiadisasters] Two Men Sentenced in 2007 Malibu Fire

The jury convicted; the survivors should pick the sentence (duration, type and means of implementation).  I've got the cure for these maggots, including the lawyer.  I'd bet the survivors would be more gentle than me (it wouldn't be quick and painless).   I already have volunteers for the task and a waiting list.

The insurance companies can have what's left, if anything.   Which brings up the only good news here; the survivors can sue in civil court for losses to make sure they pay a full price.  The convictions are useful to show guilt for civil liabilities (slam dunk).

Blame the typos on the iPhone. It's awkward to type on one.

Don't complain; at least his slick lawyer didn't get the jury all sorry for
him that he had an unhappy childhood and that society made him do it so that
they'd let him off with less than a slap on the wrist.

A year in jail (and I suppose a felony conviction) will "go on his permanent
record", so he didn't exactly "skate" (not that I would have started a riot
if he'd gotten more).
